The visceral music that Felipe Urtubia offers us is a fusion of harmonies, melodic lines and poetry, which flow naturally and emotionally on the foundations of rock, funk, pop and other trends.
An alternative and dynamic artistic proposal, where you can find the classic stridency of rock, danceable passages of funk and pop together with other more intimate proposals in the form of ballads that fuse blues with touches of jazz when the songs begin to travel the world of improvisation.
Born in Valparaíso, Chile, he began his musical career by forming his first Classic Rock band at the end of the 90s: Mitómanos.
In 2007 he moved to the capital (Santiago de Chile) and formed Sueño Lúcido, where he debuted as a composer and managed to win the first edition of the “San Bernardo Rock” Festival in 2008.
In Autumn 2009 he arrived in Barcelona, Spain, and founded Mazo-K, a funk-rock band with which he recorded an LP and two EPs.
In 2019 he released “A GREAT DAY”, his first work as a soloist. An EP with three songs under the production of the record label OhYeah Records.
In 2020 he works on an audiovisual project together with his wife Paulina Squadrito. MASQ’CONFINADOS takes the form of an album of 8 songs and sees the light in 2022.
In January 2023 he publishes his album “Re-evolución”.
