The Crabtones

The Crabtones were born in 2016 in the city of Barcelona, initially as an instrumental deep-funk quartet.

Shortly after, Eva Manzano joined as a vocalist and during the following two years they became regulars on the city circuit, performing in various venues (Marula Café, Koitton Club, Upload, Apolo, Almodobar) and at festivals such as Primavera in Black. or the FM of Gràcia or Sants.

In 2018 they released their first single “Let Me Fly”, which is part of the Blackcelona 4 compilation and will soon be recorded and released again.

The band began to work well in the circuit of private events and nightlife and became residents of places such as the extinct Artte room or the Bluesman Cocktail Bar of the Hotel Palace and performed in the F1 Paddock of the Circuit de Catalunya, the White Summer Festival or the Jardins de Pedralbes Festival (2019 and 2022) or the Adam Hall Showroom among many others, with approx. 150 shows between 2018 and 2020.

The line-up adapts, and goes on to have a “liquid” format, maintaining the guitar quartet as the base and adding musicians depending on the occasion.

In 2021, the band decides to direct the experience acquired, the complicity and the dynamics towards their own compositions, starting a path in which both worlds coexist.
