Sara Lilu is a singer, composer and arranger. After starting his studies in Madrid, she enrolled in the Conservatory of the Liceu de Barcelona in 2019 thanks to the scholarship of the Fundación Ferrer-Salat.
Award for best soloist at the 15th European Young Artists’ Jazz Award Burghausen. Her duo was officially selected to represent the emerging European scene.
Has shared the stage with musicians such as Jorge Pardo, Seward, Bill McHenry, Jorge Rossy or Carme Canela.
Sara Lilu leads a project where improvisation and technical excellence define a versatile and avant-garde proposal. Her ability to move between genres with her own identity places her as one of the most solid voices on the current circuit. A commitment to authenticity and musical rigor for scenarios that demand quality and artistic solvency. Sara Lilu is part of Veus Lliures, a vocal formation led by Celeste Alias ​​that explores the limits of the voice within the framework of free improvisation. In addition to the duo with Alesander Peña (with whom she will record a new album in 2026), she is immersed in the development of a trio format in which we can hear her voice, synths and pedals together with Dani Artetxe (electric guitar, pedals) and Dani Pimen (drums, percussion, electronics).
