Charlie Moreno is a bassist, composer, producer, and clinician from Gran Canaria, currently based between Madrid and Barcelona. He has studied with jazz legends such as Russell Malone, Gary Grainger, Dave Weckl, Richard Bona, and Victor Wooten, among others.
He leads his own project POWAFUNK, is the founder of Remembering Prince, and has worked with top Spanish pop artists. Throughout his career, he has collaborated with musicians like Christian Howes, Chuck Loeb, Polo Ortí, Eric Marienthal, Anthony Jackson, Carles Benavent, and Till Brönner, performing at both international and national festivals.
An official endorser and clinician for MTD, EBS, D’Addario, and RightOn! Straps, he has given seminars at events such as European Bass Day, Bass Day UK, and the Barcelona Jazz Festival.
